Prairie Architects

Lindsay is a principal architect of Prairie Architects, which has received numerous awards for sustainable, heritage preservation and accessibility excellence. Lindsay helped Prairie Architects establish a commitment to the integrated design process, urban regeneration, social and cultural responsibility, high performance buildings and sustainable LEED design. Lindsay is a guest studio critic and lecturer at the UofM Architecture and Engineering Faculties and has served on the MAA Council and is the incoming president for 2019/2020.

Travis Cooke


1x1 architecture

Travis is a Principal at 1x1 architecture. Recognized in the July 2017 issue of Canadian Architect Magazine as an ‘emerging talent’, 1x1architecture strives to produce thoughtful, timeless architecture focused on meeting our clients’ programmatic requirements and budgets while delivering quality, refined spaces and places. The result is work that prioritizes placemaking, people and experience.

Alexandra Chem

Project Manager & Senior Designer

Genuwine Cellars

Alexandra Chem is a graduate of the University of Manitoba – Environmental Design Program, where she developed a passion for architecture through filmic explorations of spatial environments. Currently, Alex works as a Project Manager and Senior Designer at Genuwine Cellars, a design/build firm specializing in custom wine cellar designs. Outside of work, Alex is an accomplished artist across many mediums, such as painting, sculpting and drawing.
